Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary encourages memorialization with headstones, benches, and flowers in approved vases.
Items that are not permitted, include, but are not limited to:
• Shepherd hooks, pinwheels, bird houses, weather vanes, potted plants/flowers, solar lights, fencing, watering bottles, hanging baskets, banners, chimes or any other plastic, glass or other composite materials.
These items promote theft, damage to headstones, and mowers. Additionally, these items are frequently damaged by the lawn mowing equipment.
• Rock, glass, marble, wood chips or any other material borders. These are hazardous to headstones, mowers and bystanders.
• Trenching around markers is not permitted as it encourages weeds and is a tripping hazard.
• Individual planting of trees, shrubs or other plants is not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing by the cemetery.
• Placement of any of the above listed types of items in flower beds and/or shrub beds is not permitted.
• Attaching any item to a headstone or bench is not allowed unless expressly authorized in writing by the cemetery.
• Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary will not be held responsible for any items removed, stolen or damaged.

Girl Scout Turtle Shelter Service Project - Grades K-12
A turtle brings its home where ever it goes, providing shelter, and the Turtle Shelter Project brings foam core vests to the homeless as a form of shelter. Join GSU and Turtle Shelter Project to work towards some of these vests. We will be working on various stages of vest production. This can include pinning, stuffing vests with foam, sorting and folding, and sewing & serging (if you have sewing skills). We will provide all the materials, supplies, sewing machines, and instructions. The only thing you need to bring is your helping hands and a desire to serve.
Girl Scouts must attend with an adult, who must register. All Girl Scouts and adults must register, no onsite registration is available. No unregistered tagalongs, including infants, toddlers, younger siblings, and unregistered adults. This is not a badge-earning event. COVID precautions at the time of the event will be followed.
Program fees (less the deposit) may be refunded before the program registration deadline (5/9/2023). Cancellations after the program registration deadline (5/93/2023) will forfeit the full amount of the fee for each person registered. For cancellations and registration changes, please contact Girl Scouts of Utah at 801-265-8472 or info@gsutah.org.
